Terms of Use

These terms set out the basis on which you may use this website. By using the site, you agree to them.

Who we are

This website is operated by Xandii Group Pty Ltd (ABN 57 697 021 686). Credit assistance is provided by Xandii Home Loans Pty Ltd (ABN 35 699 885 802), a credit representative of Connective Credit Services Pty Ltd (Australian Credit Licence 389328).

General information only

The content of this website is general information. It is not legal, tax or financial advice, and it does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Before acting on anything you read here, consider whether it is appropriate for your circumstances, and seek professional advice where you need it.

Estimates, not offers

The figures produced by our comparison tool and calculators are indicative estimates based on the information you enter. They are not a loan offer, a quote, or an indication that any lender will approve an application. Actual outcomes vary between lenders, and each lender applies its own credit assessment criteria, policies and buffers to your verified financial situation.

The information you enter

Information you enter on this website is transmitted and held securely: it is encrypted in transit and at rest and hosted in Australia. What we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have are set out in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, and you must not submit personal information about another person unless you are authorised to do so.

What this website records

Using this site creates some technical records beyond the details you type in. Our Privacy Policy is the document that sets out how personal information is handled and the rights you have, and this is not a substitute for it. What follows is a plain-English description of what the website itself keeps, set out here because we would rather you could see it. We describe each thing only while it is running.

What stays in your browser. What you enter into the home loan comparison tool is kept in your browser, on your own device, while the tab is open. That is what lets you move between pages, or reload, without starting again, and it clears when you close the tab. Your browser also holds a short random code for the visit, which lets the different parts of the site treat it as one visit rather than several. It is not linked to your name. If you arrived from an ad or a referral link, the code identifying that link is kept the same way. It stays in your browser unless you send us an enquiry, in which case it goes with it, so we can tell which link brought you here.

Carrying your answers into an application. If you go on to start an online application, the figures you have already given are carried across so that you do not enter them twice. Every one of them stays editable on the application form before you submit it. Our application form sits on a separate Xandii website, and a browser cannot pass information between two sites on its own. So when you click through, those figures are held briefly on our servers in Australia for the single purpose of handing them to the application form. They carry no name, email address or phone number. They are deleted as soon as the form collects them, and if you never arrive they stop working after ten minutes and are then deleted. If you sent us an enquiry earlier in the same visit, a reference to that enquiry is carried too, so the two can be connected.

How we measure the way the site is used. We keep a count of how far people get: which pages of the site a visit reached, that the comparison tool was opened, that a form was started, that results were shown, that a button was clicked. We record which of our calculators get used, but never the figures you type into one or the answers it gives you. Those stay in your browser. These records carry no personal or financial details. No name, no contact details, no income, and no dollar amounts. What they do hold is the shape of the visit: whether the loan was for a home to live in or an investment, how many applicants there were, which button was pressed and on which lender’s card, a rounded band (for example, that the loan was around 80% of the property value), and whether the visit was on a phone or a computer. They are tied to the random code for the visit, not to you, and are kept for about 90 days.

We also record where a visit came from: the campaign tags on the link you followed, and the name of the website that linked to you (the site, not the page). That tells us which of our ads and articles are worth continuing with. All of it is kept in our own account in Australia, and none of it goes to an advertising or analytics company.
